How does AUSCAL PRO help comply with the standard?
Section 4.11 of ISO9001:1994, ISO9002:1994 and ISO9003:1994 relates to the "Control of inspection equipment". You should be aware that ISO9001:2000 now supersedes these standards and section 7.6 of this relates to "Control monitoring devices".
I have a piece of equipment that has sub components, all of which need to be calibrated. Can AUSCAL PRO handle this?
Yes, each piece of equipment or gage, with its own calibration test requirements, can be linked to another item using the "Parent Item" field on the equipment record. This creates a hierarchy structure.
I have an existing database, can I convert this or do I have to start again?
In 9 out of 10 instances we can convert your existing data to AUSCAL PRO. Send us details of your current system and we will be able to advise you.
Does AUSCAL PRO run on a network?
Yes, AUSCAL PRO will run on any standard Microsoft Windows-based network.
Can I access the database with third party tools?
There are two methods of exporting data. Calibration Test data can be exported as comma delimited text files and imported into other applications. Alternatively, the standard reports can be exported directly into Microsoft applications such as Excel or Word. In addition AUSCAL PRO allows the creation of a "work linked" database to allow experienced IT personnel to access the raw data.
